we are Supporting
"We are very grateful to the Dukes and Drakes Cancer Trust for all the support they have given us. The donation of special cushions has made a huge difference to the patients who have required them following their surgery for bowel cancer. The Trust have also made substantial donations to support the further education of the specialist colorectal cancer nurses which enable us to continue supporting our patients and providing them with up to date information and solutions for some of the problems they may experience following treatment. The Trust also supports the donation of travel grants for patients by the Semi colons bowel cancer support group and this is a big help for patients who have to travel to other trusts for long periods of treatment. The Ducks and Drakes Cancer Trust have worked hard to raise awareness of bowel cancer, particularly in younger people, and we appreciate their hard work and dedication."

“Ducks and Drakes have supported us from the beginning of the Cancer Appeal and we are very grateful to them for their very significant donation of £75,000. The money they raised has helped us to reach our Appeal target and will allow us to continue to provide the best possible care for all our patients at the new Robert White Centre in Dorchester.”
